I’m loving Boston.. sadly we have too short a time and our wish-list of things to see is too long…
Here is a Photo Tour of a little bit of Boston. ( Really it’s just a snippet)… enjoy!
On the Common…
A strange shaped building used to ajoin this one???
Boxes with newspapers for sale…
gorgeous building… artistry in stone…
.. nice to see plants on the lamps…
trying to convey how the bottom of this stone ornament is like a boat…
school bus… ( nothing like this back home in Europe…)
..mail boxes also completely different to ours at home…

Well, now you have to post pictures of your mailboxes & school buses back home, so we can compare! Glad you enjoyed your trip.

Blisterina, I certainly will LOL. However we don’t have school buses for kids like you do, at all… in The Netherlands the school “bus” is more likely in most cases to be a fiets ! (=bicycle!)

I’m glad you enjoyed Boston. I live in the area, and it’s great to see travelers’ perspectives on local things. The big yellow school buses and blue, rounded mail boxes are such a common sight here in New England…and the entire USA for that matter!

Hi Allegra, Sorry for the mega late reply, my autumn cold is now 3 weeks old and I’m sick of it! back to school stuff has had us rushed off our feet too. I think that things like letter boxes, you simply just walk past them and they are part of the landscape in the country where you live… it takes someone different from someone else to remind you that they might be unusual. a) I’m a detail fanatic and b) I have a weird sense of humour, so I notice these things and like to even make a ” collection” of them (yes, strange I know…) I LOVE the rounded USA ones, truely they are so cute that they are easily my favourites so far LOL.
