A Very Small Walk on the Wild Side…

I’m still taking you on an archive tour of photos taken last Summer in Rijswijk.

In this photo series I’m cutting through the Van Vredenburchweg in the direction of Huis te Landelaan, and whilst this is technically a road, it doesn’t mean that public vehicles can drive the whole length of it.

There is restricted access and bollards in the road at several points so car traffic can only get so far, so there is no quick shortcut along this road to the main streets at either end.

For me that for me was a good thing, a very quiet little road and since I’m on foot, a peaceful walk in a green area that is still very much within the city limits.

On the day I walked this route I had an appointment in the Huis te Landelaan so here my pictorial view of  the walk there and back…

Then, on the way back I was rewarded with a slightly different view of the little bridge I’d passed earlier,  This next photo, and the last one especially really appealed because the reflection of the bridge in the water really accentuated the tunnel-like underside of the bridge.
