We Mostly stay in more budget style accommodation and sometimes the places are great, sometimes we might think that the place next door might have been a better option.
In my pre-blogging days I’ve been in some doozies that included one in the Solomon Islands with a floor so sloping you had to work hard to stay upright walking across the room, a haunted youth hostel in Ireland, a hotel Singaporein the 1980′s that I renamed the “cockroach hotel” , a french Gite with a mega tiny french double bed (huge end-boards) that BOTH Himself and I were too tall for and ended up sleeping on the floor, the Easter in Portugal where there was no heating existing in the place and it was freezing, literally icy… (tile floors +zero insulation) to count just a few… we’ve seen many amazing places over the course of our travels, though some left us speechless for all the wrong reasons LOL.
We like to live simply at home and save hard to travel.. works for us!
