We were there in December and the temperature wasn’t very summer-y, That said t wasn’t too awful either : about 24 C (75 F), the main thing was that the tail end of the cyclone that was passing over at the time was dumping rain, rain and more rain, (whilst we were in the restaurant that evening the downpour intensified and looked like what you get in the tropics i.e. not raining cats and dogs, but swimming pools!)… so it was more wet than cold.
