We woke up the next morning at the Oasis Motor Lodge with a cooked breakfast delivered to our door.
An excellent feast to get us up and energised for the day and which was quickly demolished with pleasure!
I’d managed to sort my clothes and suitcase the evening before and had some time on my hands whilst Himself and the kids returned to the swimming pool one last time before we hit the road again.
I’m busy settling myself a challenge (slightly more long term challenge than short term one at this moment) to resume drawing and have chosen a floral/ natural foliage as the item I’d like to improve my drawing skills with.
Although I love talking photographs I’ve never had too much success with flora photos so I use this moment after breakfast to put in a little practice.
Yes, I probably should have put on the macro lens (but didn’t have it with me) and I didn’t have a tripod either, so results were so-so but good enough to use as drawing references at some later date when I have more time and better concentration skills.

What’s the orange one- hibiscus? Lovely.

gh,
I’d guess and say I *think* it might be but please take that with a grain of salt as I’m the first to admit that I’m Florally Challanged LOL.
(My family of gardeners only ever let me do weeding, which I didn’t end up minding ‘cos at least you can see results that are semi-instant)
