Make up Your Own Mind, Insert Your Own Caption and Decide for Yourself…

Work and study have overtaken me at the moment to the point where I’m a little on information overload,  so I’ve pulled some photos from my archive pile to present to you today.

This is a statue in the centre of the Hague, in amongst the new high-rise buildings close to Central Station. It’s large in size, an imposing statue surrounded by imposing buildings.

Personally I’m not sure if I like it… the detail fanatic in me demands more, but since I want to slowly photograph all of the statues, murals and art forms in the city I live in, it will obviously mean I will be featuring some I personally like more than others.

This one is more modernist in style,  and whilst it may not be my cup of tea, it does have a certain energy that I find engaging. I couldn’t find any information on it, so what exactly is happening here?

Two prisoners lied together back to back? Figures from a novel or mythology? A metaphorical struggle of some sort? A representation of Defeat and Victory?

Since I don’t know either, you are left to make up your own mind, insert your own caption and decide for yourself if you like it or not.
