Not Going Down The Drain Any Time Soon…

Regular readers know that I have a fascination with the strangest of things… ordinary, every day things, like doors, windows, letter boxes, drain covers and grills. Yes! It’s another drain cover post! Here in Maastricht I found not just one beautiful, round, metal beauty, but three!  Lovers of pattern and drain covers … enjoy!!!

  1. right now I am reading “Magnet” by Lars Saabye Christensen. It`s about a photographer who loves to take pictures of things, and your post reminded me of him. Keep up the good work, and love every picture you take.

    • Mirrorgirl,
      Thank You!
I love finding beauty in ordinary things, the details that people rush past in their haste without taking the time to pause and look around them. I adore pattern, texture and natural elements as well as man made ones like wrought iron and tiles…Your book sounds interesting, is it available in English?
