  1. That’s a very interesting tricycle with two wheels in the front and one in the back! I have only ever seen the one in front/two in back combination 😀

      It just goes to show how serious the Dutch are about their cycling 🙂 Many older people want to remain at home and as independent as possible for as long as possible, but no longer feel safe in their abilities to keep balance on a two wheeled bike. This is one of several sorts of “adult trike” that allows an older or disabled person to ride / continue to ride and keep fit.
      The more traditional trike is more prevalent, but this one allows for more security and control at the front of the bike, so in a way makes more sense than the type that has only one wheel at the front. Personally I think it’s a fabulous idea!!!
