Spotted Around The Hague…

Today’s post is a photographic one: camera on hand, I take photographs on the move, this time these places were spotted around The Hague.

  1. Interesting and beautiful architecture. The ship is amazing, imagine the skill required to construct it. The bread reminds me…it is time for breakfast! Thank-you, always enjoy your lovely photographs.

    • Ellen,
Thank you for your kind words… the amazing thing is that I used to pass in the tram that building with the ship almost daily for two years before I noticed it was there… now I look at it every time I go that way (easy because these days himself is always driving) and it delights me as much every time as the first time I noticed it. I wonder how many other people are so focused on phones / music / or other stuff that they simply forget to look up, and still haven’t noticed that this is there? The bakery is one of a series of new-ish down-town places I have spotted semi recently (mostly because my opportunities to get into the city centre have been limited of late). Fresh, artisan bakeries and whole-food places have been springing up around the city in recent years, an excellent trend. no need for it to be breakfast time …bread like this makes me feel hungry no matter the time of day ! 🙂
