Responsible Vandalism?

This summer, I accompanied Himself and Little Mr on a tour of the 2nd Maasvlakte, searching our some of the numerous company funded fire stations.  Of course in-between them we were free to explore a little, check out information boards and learn more about the area. This board and its’ information explained why we didn’t see anyone swimming or surfing here. Even the kite boarders were giving it a wide berth. No need to translate this one! The sign itself is a fascinating study, those who placed the stickers took care to not obliterate the message, and although they did obscure the picture of the hand raised out of the water, they left the text alone. Is this a kind of “responsible vandalism?”
