Imaginative Detail In Black And White…

The next discovery during the “Parels” (Pearls) event in the Hague is an artist who works both in black and white, and in colour but the starting point of both are black line drawings. These particular ones are abstract but have a semi-organic feel to them.  The first and third photographs, with the red and blue frames respectively, should actually be viewed looking to the right, (the left hand edge being the bottom of each). They were the correct way around then I loaded the photographs, but the orientation switched the upload and after three attempts I gave up.

Obviously these have been drawn from imagination but there are some quite lovely patterns to be found within them. I know this style is fairly popular at the moment, it’s not quite my bag but I overheard several other visitors saying that they really liked them. If you like patterns the there will be something, somewhere inside these for you… Enjoy!
