Not Masterpieces, But Fun…

Often I take photographs just because I see the result as a cross between a reference point for my sketching endeavours, and little art pieces on their own.

I’m a realist: These are not good enough to enlarge the poster size and hang on the wall, I mean I could probably make those shots if I set up a tripod at just the right moment of the day, and in the right weather etc, etc. but I’m more of a “in the moment photographer” and every now and again I get lucky with a few better than average photographs. I don’t care, my approach makes me happy.

It was a warm Spring day in Leiden, and there was a warm breeze to go with it. I saw waterlilies and I had fun…
